Learning Objectives
To provide in-depth knowledge on the theoretical basics of Structural Diagnosis and management of Lumbar spine
To demonstrate hands on skills for the diagnosis and management of Lumbar spine disorders
To facilitate practice guideline for SDM lumbar spine and promote clinical researches on SDM

- Certificate will be awarded by Bangladesh Institute of Manual Therapy & Research (BIMTR) in Collaboration with Bangladesh- Board of Physiotherapists in Orthopedic and Musculoskeletal Medicine (BPOM)
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy/ Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation
- Intern Physiotherapist/ BPT/ BPTR (5th Year) are eligible as extended scope

- This is the regular schedule. For job holders class will be held on Thursday, Friday or in vacations

Review of Anatomy & Physiology (2 credit hours lecture method)
Biomechanical basis of Lumbar spine disorder (4 credit hours lecture method)
SDM Assessment of Lumbar spine (6 credit hours, 3 credit hours lecture method, 3 credit hours practical)

Dr. Mohammad Shahadot Hossain, a Bangladeshi Physiotherapist, academic, and musculoskeletal medicine specialist in 2010. Later a team led by Dr. Shahadot introduced the concept to the scientific world in 2020 with a structured lumbar spine assessment. The team members included Dr. Sapia Akter, and Dr. Kazi Md. Amran Hossain and a few associates. SDM has separate assessments for lumbar spine, cervical spine, and lower limb dysfunction.
