Founder and History

SDM concept was first described by Dr. Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, a Bangladeshi Physiotherapist, academic, and musculoskeletal medicine specialist in 2010. Later a team led by Dr. Mohammad Shahadat Hossain introduced the concept to the scientific world in 2020 with a structured lumbar spine assessment. The team members included Dr. Sapia Akter, and Dr. Kazi Md. Amran Hossain and a few associates. SDM has separate assessments for lumbar spine, cervical spine, and lower limb dysfunction.
